ShopBop's BIG EVENT!!! Happy Thanksgiving!

While getting plenty of rest trying to nurse myself back to health from a bronchial infection, the only thing I'm able to do is shop online. Big surprise, right? So as I'm searching for early Black Friday deals I came across a promotional event at ShopBop.com. Ladies, you need to take advantage of this EVENT! I have been coveting the Alexander Wang Rocco Bag for awhile now, but was a little concerned about the heaviness of the bag. The original design did not come with the shoulder strap which limited the way one could carry this bag. The newer design comes with a shoulder strap which means it is now a more functional bag. LOVE!!!! I purchased the black with brass studs, which never goes on sale, and to my delight I also found the Darcy Hobo on sale for $680 reduced from $850 in Luggage. I need a great hobo bag in a brownish shade since I had to retire my Chloe Paddington Tote after many years of use. I literally broke one of the straps because of the weight of the bag and all the crap I lug around. The Darcy also has the studded bottom which gives it an edginess and it is unmistakably Alexander Wang. My total came to $1555 and once I applied the promo code, I saved $500! Two AW bags in classic colors for $1055 is a steal!



These bags will be an early Christmas gift to myself. I am considering getting rid of some of my older bags in order to help finance all the shopping I've done this month. If I decide to do that, I will post the bags on this blog. Oh yeah and have a fabulous Thanksgiving! Tootles!

Kiehls having their annual F&F promo $20 off $50 purchase plus free shipping!

Kiehls makes some incredible products and this promo is the best I've seen from them. They will take off $20 automatically if you have $50 or more in your basket. I know several ladies who have made up to 3 different transactions to get the most for their money. Use the code PRESENT for free shipping. Some of the items I've ordered are true staples and others are new fun things.
I love their Coriander shower gel. The smell is divine and you'll want to stay in the shower just to continue inhaling the scent. If you've never tried it, get it!
I purchased a moisturizing eye cream with SPF 30 that looks like a tube of lipstick. Genius! Why didn't I think of that? With my aging skin, I need to protect it as much as possible especially around the delicate skin of my eyes. I've never tried it so I will do a review of the product in the near future.
Last but not least, lip glosses! I have an addiction to lip glosses so when I get a chance to try a new one, I jump at it! Kiehls has a great reputation on their lip balms so I wanted the protective and healing factor of their balm with the pretty gloss factor. I ordered two different colors, sight unseen, so I hope they work out.

My New LOVE Cartier Style!

I hit a monumental birthday recently and have been pretty down about it and the only cure for the blues for me is SHOPPING. It really is the ultimate therapy! So I understand the whole thing about the poor economy and how one must save and have a nest egg in case of an emergency. Yeah, I get all that so in my defense I do put quite a bit of my paycheck away in my 401k, actually I pretty much max it out to what the government allows annually. The rest of my hard earned money goes to my "TOYS". My toys are the fruits of my labor, so in celebration of my monumental birthday I decided to go all out.

Purchase #1: 34mm Rolex Air King. None of that dainty ladies stuff, but a solid, modern looking men's model in the classic Air King. Love the oversized watch look on women.

Purchase #2: I finally bit the bullet and got me a Cartier LOVE bracelet in 18k yellow gold! Yay, I LOVE it! I think every woman should have one in their life time. It's a solid bracelet so the weight is substantial. It's not a bracelet that should be removed unless you really have to and in order to do that you need the tiny screw driver it comes with and you have to unscrew two little screws. I'm not planning on ever taking it off. The best part is, I got it 2 days before the unannounced price hike. It went up $350!!! Wait...what?!? That is some serious money! I'm giddy for beating the "system"!

J Brand Outlet!!!

I'm a lazy blogger or maybe just a busy one so I haven't been posting any great finds lately but today I found out about a J Brand Outlet in Downtown, LA. Prices range $30 to $85 for a pair of jeans and we all know that's a STEAL! I was told that the new legging style denim is only $75. This is the email I received directly from the outlet.
