My New LOVE Cartier Style!

I hit a monumental birthday recently and have been pretty down about it and the only cure for the blues for me is SHOPPING. It really is the ultimate therapy! So I understand the whole thing about the poor economy and how one must save and have a nest egg in case of an emergency. Yeah, I get all that so in my defense I do put quite a bit of my paycheck away in my 401k, actually I pretty much max it out to what the government allows annually. The rest of my hard earned money goes to my "TOYS". My toys are the fruits of my labor, so in celebration of my monumental birthday I decided to go all out.

Purchase #1: 34mm Rolex Air King. None of that dainty ladies stuff, but a solid, modern looking men's model in the classic Air King. Love the oversized watch look on women.

Purchase #2: I finally bit the bullet and got me a Cartier LOVE bracelet in 18k yellow gold! Yay, I LOVE it! I think every woman should have one in their life time. It's a solid bracelet so the weight is substantial. It's not a bracelet that should be removed unless you really have to and in order to do that you need the tiny screw driver it comes with and you have to unscrew two little screws. I'm not planning on ever taking it off. The best part is, I got it 2 days before the unannounced price hike. It went up $350!!! Wait...what?!? That is some serious money! I'm giddy for beating the "system"!
